Sharron Leppien is an avid traveller and delights in seeing the unusual and unexpected moments that are found whilst travelling to remote and not often visited locations. She is highly aware of the skill that is required to present a truly award-winning image.
Photo travel and Photojournalism are her first loves. One of her photographs graced the cover of the Australian Photography Magazine and was the winner of the inaugural Monochrome Awards – people section. She also has sold prints to be hung in galleries and homes in several countries.
Sharron is the immediate past president of the Maitland International Salon of Photography and the first ever woman elected to the position in the 67 year history of the Salon and looks forward to judging in this prestigious exhibition.
