The VIGEX International Print Salon is conducted in Victoria, Australia.
In 2017 Maitland International Salon of Photography will have a “SEND ON” to VIGEX. If you want your prints sent on to VIGEX please indicate so when you enter the 2017 Maitland Salon. After the exhibition of the Maitland Salon at Maitland Regional Art Gallery on 7th April 2017 the “SEND ON” prints will be forwarded to VIGEX at no additional cost to the entrants.
Please contact VIGEX for information, entry and payment of fees for VIGEX entries.
Please note that separate entries must be made for Maitland and VIGEX. Apart from sending your prints to VIGEX, Maitland Salon will not collect entry fees, or enter your work in the VIGEX competition for you.
VIGEX Inc. conducts a series of International Photographic Salons in Geelong, Victoria, Australia. Print salons have been held generally every two years since 1980.
Overseas entrants sending prints by surface mail should allow 120 days minimum shipping time for the arrival and return of entries. Packages arriving after the closing date will be returned unopened.
Prints forwarded from Maitland
Entrants submitting prints to the Maitland 2017 Salon: Monochrome, Colour and Nature sections may elect to have these forwarded to the VIGEX 2017 Salon. Maitland and VIGEX salon dates will allow this.
Also, entrants may enclose prints for additional VIGEX sections: Creative, Photo Travel and People with their entry to Maitland 2017. Entrants must complete separate entry forms for BOTH salons and indicate on BOTH entry forms that all prints are to be forwarded to VIGEX. If entrants wish to have prints returned by VIGEX then they must include the postal fee for this in their payment to VIGEX.
